Magnus was a half-Aelda mage from Loth. He joined a group of fortune-seekers who were eventually ambushed outside of Crowten by the high priest Grutek and warrior acolytes of the Thuzuulan Heresy. He was killed, along with his companions Gavin Karthos and Marius. The survivors of the ambush—Flanagan of Osgud, Joshua Telwin, and Conan of Balthas—fled the attack.
