An ancient family hailing from Peladun in central Avandell who were overthrown during the War of the Malign Ascension and whose survivors either fled south into the wilds Stout Weald or sailed to Bereth. The last Croydan stronghold to fall, Erelaan, disappeared mysteriously into ruin before it could be seized by the united armies of houses Tasel, Hrothgar, and Cordwain.
