Deslaine of Barleystoke

Parsifal Deslaine, the count of Barleystoke in Avandell, was a cousin and longtime ally of Croyd Simonson. He funded Croyd's ascent in Bereth and loaned his services to Croyd's aggression against Dellforth. His arrival along with Captain Cromwell during the Siege of Kandorr was pivotal to that battle. He was killed by Belosian soldiers during the push against the assault, but ultimately Kandorr prevailed. His body was returned to Barleystoke and is interred at the Quercushite temple there.
