Elysi

The Elys are wealthy familes of mixed descent (Silwaré and Elys) whose coastal city-state of Elistrond was conquered by Belosian warlords five centuries ago and assimilated into the empire of Argonheim. Many of their number fled oversea to Kandorr during Elistrond's siege and are to this day branded outlaws by the empire. Those who remained to surrender and kneel to Belos were given their lives and contracted to rebuild the navy. Today they command the western seas bordering the empire and the islands therein and their shipyard is home to some of the world's most skilled shipwrights.
