Signal tower

A network of slender brick and mortar signal towers dot the hilltops of Avandell. Adjacent to the tower are small 10' tall buildings that serve as living quarters for the tower staff (usually 2 to 4 men). A stone wall (9') encircles the grounds and a front gate is manned by one of the staff. There are barracks for a detachment should it be required.

The unit is self-sufficient, with a well and garden. Communication is limited to official crown business.
