The Northern Regard

The "Northern Regard" is the designation used by the Lothian aristocracy to describe the lands approximately north-east of the city-state of Loth. It had been long-contested land between Loth and Yrda until that nation was conquered by Loth after centuries of conflict. The land is populated and farmed by Yrdan tribes who plead loyal to Loth, and each territory is ruled by a Marquis, who makes his home in a fortified manor within the territory.

There are eighteen distinct Yrdan tribes and equal division of territory between them.
