Elan Durkaath

Elan Durkaath ("deathless by cunning and force") is a philosophy conceived by the cursed Uarthé after to the Filial War and their subsequent exile and punishment. A handful of powerful Uarthé, unable to accept their fate, sought to restore their longevity through dark sorcery and so developed a complementary doctrine according to their goals:

Nature is flawed, doomed to dissolution and death, whereas integrity is expressed through endurance and resilience—only the weak materially rot and die, only the feeble are incapable of regeneration and rebirth. The struggle of existence is to live, and the victor lives eternally.

To this end, practitioners of Elan Durkaath are counted among the most powerful necromancers in the world.
