A kingdom of man, but ruled by proxy by the Uarthé.

Ulmeth is a large island which has been heavily influenced by the Voldar over the course of two millennia. The island has a diverse landscape, ranging from dense forests and mountains to wide plains and coastal regions. Ulmeth is home to a large human population, which has been subjugated by the Voldar through a combination of military force, magic, and propaganda. The Voldar have established a powerful empire on the island, centered around the port city of Umberholt.

Umberholt is a sprawling metropolis, with a mix of architectural styles, reflecting its long and complex history. The city is home to many Voldar, as well as humans who have been assimilated into Voldar society. There are many impressive buildings in the city, such as the Imperial Palace and the Great Library of Umberholt.

The city is a hub of trade, culture, and education, with many markets, guilds, and schools. However, it is also a place of great inequality, with the Voldar occupying the highest positions of power and the human population living in poverty and servitude. The city is heavily guarded, both by Voldar soldiers and magical defenses, which prevent humans from attempting to overthrow their rulers.

Outside of Umberholt there are two major cities--Ceytheros and Orduron--dozens of smaller towns and a multitude of villages scattered throughout Ulmeth, each with its own character and culture. Much of these settlements are often overlooked by the Voldar, who are primarily concerned with maintaining their control over the cities.
